OneWeb website

OneWeb website

This was a project for OneWeb, a UK based communications company. Their goal is to provide internet services ‘to everyone, everywhere', via low-orbiting satellites. So far, they have launched 218 of the planned 648 satellites in the initial constellation.
In 2019, OneWeb developed the ‘SpaceGram’ initiative, in partnership with Unicef. Customers would pledge money to the spacegram project, and in return get their name etched onto one of the satellites. They would then receive a notification to watch their satellite launching live and could track their satellites while in orbit. They could also use the app to read about how their donation was helping people all over the world who previously didn’t have access to internet.

While at RPM, we were tasked with designing a responsive micro-site for customers to sign-up to this process. I looked after the UX and UI design.

Low fidelity wireframe created from initial sketches. This was used for 1st round user testing to check the flow, content and navigation.

I created this mid/high fidelity prototype in Adobe XD showing some of the interactivity and flow; this was to sell the final concept to the OneWeb team. Click to play the video.
High fidelity mock up with annotations that was  sent to the internal OneWeb design team and their developers to take over the project. They followed up with development tweaks.
